Animal Warden

The Petal Police Department is now accepting applications for an Animal Warden.

This position is responsible for enforcing animal control laws, responding to animal-related calls, investigating complaints, and ensuring the safety and welfare of both the public and animals within the City of Petal. Duties may include handling stray or dangerous animals, assisting with cruelty investigations, and working closely with the community.

Applicants should be dependable, comfortable working with animals, and able to handle stressful situations professionally. Prior experience in animal control, law enforcement, or a related field is preferred, but not required.
