I have said April is moving month for the City of Petal. It's a golf term (moving day) referring to putting yourself in a position to win. This being Masters week, I believe it's fitting for our city right now. With the many great announcements, from growth on the Gandy to the moves made at our recent board meeting, we have added another tool in our mission to put customer service at the forefront of what we do. We now have an Action Line phone. This new number will allow residents to leave a message on things that aren't urgent in nature but need to be addressed. We will check it each morning on business days. During regular business hours you can still use our regular contact methods and emergencies will still need to go to our PD or 911 and this action number is available for other calls 24-7.
